The annual women's Swiss Steak Dinner will be taking place March 20th at Belding UMC. The meal includes swiss steak, coleslaw, squash, corn, and mashed potatoes and home made pies. Suggested donation is $7 per person. Please contact the church with any questions. (616) 794-1244

This annual meeting is for you if you are new to Annual Conference or if you are a “veteran” of the church’s principle gathering for the West Michigan Conference. If you would like to learn more about how we do conferencing, how you should prepare or what to bring to Calvin, or what we will be voting on; this day is for you! We have two times and two locations “to serve you better.” The first session of the day will be from 9:30 until 11:00 in the morning at Big Rapids First UMC, and the second session will be from 2 until 3:30 in the afternoon at Carson City UMC. Both sessions will feature Rev. Benton Heisler, Conference Director of Connectional Ministries, along with Heartland District Lay Leader Larry Wyman Sr. and Rev. Dr. Bill Dobbs. Please put this day, time and place on your calendar NOW! You won’t be sorry!
This event takes place every Wednesday during Lenten season from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Donations for the community food pantry are accepted. Each week a different church and pastor provide the soup and message. Belding UMC participates in this event.
